Let's Pause For a Second Now We're In Late January
You’ve probably started the year with great intentions.
A fresh diary. New plans. The promise that this year will feel different.
And now it’s late January and you’re starting to think:
Why is my to do list somehow growing?
Why isn’t this feeling easier yet?
If that’s happening to you, I want you to pause for a second.
Here’s what’s interesting:
It’s not actually about the amount of time you have.
(We’ve all heard that cringe line that Beyoncé only has 24 hours in a day too — yes, with three kids… and probably three nannies and a housekeeper.)
What’s really driving how overwhelmed you feel is the system you’re trying to run your life inside.
Work, family, the mental load – all of that will still exist. The difference is how supported you feel while you’re doing it all.
If you’re constantly firefighting…
multitasking…
bouncing between tabs inside your brain…
and it leaves you feeling panicked, scattered and out of control all day long – that’s not a personal failing. It’s just a missing skillset.
This is the pattern we work on inside my 12 week coaching program, Not Dead Yet.
We won’t push harder and squeeze more into your days.
But we will address the pattern underneath it all.
I pair the practical tools (planning, routines, structure) with the emotional ones (regulation, self-trust, mindset).
The result isn’t a “perfect” life.
It’s this:
You take a breath.
Your days start running more efficiently.
Your mind isn’t racing with work thoughts at 3am.
Your week has actual white space again.
You feel calmer, more together — at work, at home and in yourself.
If something in this post made you exhale a little, you’re very welcome to read more about the program or reach out for a chat.
Because things change quickly when you stop treating the symptoms (imagine spurting blood everywhere) and start upgrading the system that’s driving your week (let’s put on the bloody tourniquet and stop the bleeding!)
