Off Routine In The Holidays?

Our brains, by nature, LOVE routine.

We love to know when our kids will fall asleep and wake up.

We love to know what foods they eat, how they’ll behave, all of it.

That can all go out the window during the holidays, so if you're freaking out, breathe. You are normal.

The easiest way to manage holiday anxiety is to come up with a holiday routine.

Here are some prompts to get started:

  1. What time will your kids generally go to sleep and wake?

  2. What different foods will they eat?

  3. How many more meltdowns will they have?

Don't live in denial; live in reality.
